Anything over a 6800, you would have to use PCI Express. If you get AGP, your video card will be bottlenecked and you'll pretty much get a 6800 w/ 256MB performance no matter what card you have.

looking at:
nVidia 6600-type card
or an nVidia 7800-type card... or 7600-type...

right now I have to chimp *all* graphics in WoW to absolute minimums to have a playable FPS. I'd like to be able to play it with some things turned up.
