on average i drive over 500 miles every week.

with a couple of fillups at $3.00/gallon (what i paid last time at the pump for low grade regular), it ends up being about $45 per fillup, or $90 for a week and a half.
another way to look at it is $0.10 a mile. 10 miles ends up costing me a buck. 100 miles ends up costing me $10 bucks. And 1,000 miles ends up costing me $100 bucks.
