he had a press pass to go to the SA/Mavs game last nite and got pulled over for speeding (68 in 55) on the way home
One thought that popped into my head was "doh... I shoulda warned him I-35 is a speed trap pretty much that whole drive" but then I realized... WAIT... HE'S ON PROBATION FOR DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED DL! So to any RATIONAL human being, such a speed trap warning WOULD NOT BE NEEDED because said rational human being would NOT FUCKING SPEED *EVER* while in the situation he's in.
but no... he's an idiot.
so he thought he was only on probation from that prior... and he thought wrong... because apparently there was some fee that he didn't pay to clear that prior thing... SO... his license was suspended AGAIN, and they threw him in jail.
fun.
and get this... I was *this* close to telling him on the phone at 4 AM that I'm not coming... not because I was trying to be a dick or anything... but simply because I was drunk and shouldn't have been driving! lol
but I chugged a Dew and hit the road
