i read that the new version, they're all like mutants... freaks... etc... part of what made the original so creepy is that they were just *normal* ppl in some sense... like they chose to do what they were doin'... but in the new version, they're essentially *victims* themselves of the mutation... so they're more pathetic than evil/wrong :P
*shrug* that seemed like a pretty significant plot change to me since i liked the original fer what it was.

the article i read practically said they were victims themselves and just kinda blindly acting out...
but, if they're/it's still calculated and purposeful, that restores some cred, fer me :)
tho, anything referencing breakin' 2 should be a cool sequel :D

at least most of them
they are unapologetic about their brutality. these arent just cannibals, these are animals.

that it was a family of mutants who were just "wild" and didn't know what they were doing. but if they're brutally unforgiving, and know what they're doing, then it sounds worth a watch.
completely agree with what you said below, about "what are ppl expecting?"
i always hear ppl trashing certain movies, and i'm thinking... "well, if you went into it not expecting that, then yer to blame" :P i just want to be entertained in some fashion, even negative fashion... just make me notice yer movie in some way and i'm fine.

i just hope "the great escape" is never remade... just leave it be!!
and as i said a few days ago, i watched some movie about snakes on a plane about 5 years ago, on showtime... it was awful... lol but, i was told this isn't a remake. lol

the buzz about that movie on the internet a couple of weeks ago was so large that the studio gave the filmmakers more money to jazz it up, heh.
but it's still going to be a cheezy action movie involving snakes on an airplane, sam jackson or no. the movie trailer looked funny, but it seems like a 90-minute movie might not hold up. it would be a GREAT 30-minute skit though.
