My ten minutes at the County Police Headquarters .....

FINGERPRINTS

Its a two to three week wait for contractors to have them done at the Pentagon so the security czar told us to get them done on our own.

The officer assistant spent 5 hours on Friday going around town trying to get hers done. Me, expecting the worse, take off the entire afternoon and head down to the Police headquarters in rural Prince William County Virginia.

I get to the info desk and explain what I need done and why it needs to be done. I'm told that there is a $5 fee and I pull out a $5 bill and ask if cash is ok. I'm moved to the head of the line and I'm done in less then 10 minutes.

I'm handed back my two fingerprint cards, a paper that says I have clear criminal state background check, and an application for a weapons permit.

Got to love this county I live in sometimes.
