I knew the Skins werent going to get that 4th rounder they wanted. Especially after the signed Todd Collins.

I think the deal just got held up because the Jets were trying to pry Schaub away from Hotlanta. When Atlanta pretty much said 'naw man you arent getting Schaub' then they came back to the Ramsey trade.

This is interesting tho. What do they do in the draft? Would they sign Ramsey and restructure Pennington if they were still planning on taking a rookie QB? Or is Ramsey veteran backup in case Chad's shoulder really is a pile of spaghetti????

All these QB signings are turning the draft order upside down.

I think the amount of games he starts for the rest of his career can be counted on one hand.

the restructure sitll guarantees him 3 million in 06. Thats not exactly chump change for someone where the prevailing attitude is that he's done.

My gut instinct tells me he is done. But the guaranteed money the Jets offered (and he signed) says they dont think that.

The teams that need QBs that thought they would never have a shot at one of the three are now sitting pretty to get one without moving up.
